It’s also advisable to inspect the surface periodically for any signs of damage, such as cracks or tears, and repairing them promptly can prevent potential safety hazards and extend the flooring's longevity. 

Depending on the type of rubber flooring, we might recommend applying a sealant or protective coating every now and then to enhance durability and resistance to wear and tear. 

Loose-fill surfacing is prone to redistribution over time, not only because of the children playing on it but also because of the weather. It is important to maintain even surfaces, which means that routine raking and leveling will be required.
